The other day I was in the kitchen making chocolate mousse when Rebekah came up to ask me what I was doing. I told her about the mousse and she repeated after me, "chocolate mousse." The way she said mousse, I could tell she was thinking MOOSE, not mousse. She went back to playing in the living room then a couple minutes later peeked back in at me and asked, "What you making? HIPPOPOTAMUS?"
Related to the same chocolate mousse, while I was washing the dinner dishes, Alyssa came up to me and dropped a piece of paper next to me on the counter. It said: "Please come back in writing. Can we have the Brown Moose now?"
