Mulitcultural Night: Brazil

For Multicultural Night at school this year, we studied and celebrated the country of Brazil. Alyssa sang a short program with the choir.
Alyssa and her friend, Fiorella laughing before the program begins.
A little bit more serious now once the program has begun, Alyssa and Fio are getting ready to sing.
Emma with her friends Willow and Lauryn, watching the older kids sing.
The dancers performing. There was also a couple there who sang the famous song, "The Girl From Ipanema."
Emma with her friends and Alyssa behind them on the stage.
The lady in the front was leading the children in dancing. I think she was teaching a "Samba."
Emma and her friend Catherine, with Alyssa serving some food. Emma would serve this green stuff (it was pretty good: some spinach, and cilantro tossed in a dressing that had a little kick), but of course she never tried any of it. Catherine is serving some kind of cornmeal topping that was put onto a rice, black beans, and chicken mixture.
