Little Spring Eggs On Good Friday

When the girls woke up this morning, Good Friday, we dyed Easter Eggs.
Rebekah showing me where she put her first egg, in the purple.
Emma ready to make a pink egg.
Alyssa placing her egg in the blue. I told them to put on dark colored shirts so any drips wouldn't stain (we made it through without any spills at all!). She is wearing Kahiwa's shirt here, she insisted it was hers.
Very pleased with her eggs.
Gretchen and Emma concentrating.
This egg Alyssa made was really cool. It was one of those accidental dyes that turned out just perfect. Although you can't see it too well in the photo, the green and blue blended together in a really neat swirly kind of way.
Emma and Bekah laughing.
Many of our colored eggs.
The girls finished off their eggs with glitter, stickers, and tatoos. They were all very creative and happy with how their eggs came out. The papers that are taped to the wall behind them is a "Slumber Party Agenda" that Alyssa created for them, homework time was included (2nd on the list).
My favorites were the glitter eggs, they looked so pretty.
The girls' finished eggs divided into four cartons. Bekah's is the pink carton and you can see that she went a little nuts with the stickers :)
After finishing our eggs, we got all dressed up to go to the Good Friday Service at church. We usually dye Easter Eggs on "Easter Eve" but this was really fun to wake up and color the eggs, then head out to church. It might be a new Good Friday tradition.
