This week and next week, Alyssa is doing a First Stage Theatre Academy drama workshop. Dave and I payed for most of it, and she offered to use some of her own money that she received as a birthday gift to pay for a portion of it as well. That's how excited she was about it.
She couldn't wait to get started. Each day they have a specific skill they emphasize, and I'll ask her to make a post about it later, so she can tell you all the cool details.
After bringing Alyssa to drama, we went over to Lake Park to play. Emma hadn't been to this park since she was about Rebekah's age, and when we got there, she didn't even remember it, but she was so happy to be there. The girls jumped in this little car right away.
Hey wait, there's a spot in front for me too!
Singing in the sand.
Really getting into her song!
Loving the little motorcycle.
This slide was so fast that it spun Kamele around to her tummy on the way down. She liked it!
Emma must have done this mini zip swing 50 times or more. She was sure holding one leg up like this helped her go faster :-)
Little monkey girl. She was missing having Alyssa to play with about now. They usually start on opposite sides of the bars, race to the middle and chicken fight (swing their legs around the other person and hang on tight) until someone falls.
Smiling at the bottom of the slide that tossed her around on the way down.
The girls loved playing in this little house. They kept calling it a cabin.
