100 Bales of Hay and More Missouri Photos

Over the course of two days 100 bales of hay were brought back to the farm. Alyssa went along with my mom and Uncle Joe to get 80 the first day, and because the trailer couldn't hold any more, Emma and I had the opportunity to go back the next day to pick up the rest. Sorry some of the photos are a little out of order.

Sweet Cowgirl. Gotta love the flushed, pink cheeks, she must be working hard baling hay!

Cows from a neighboring farm that looked nice in their field.

Pink cowgirl Em, waiting for some hay to load onto the trailer.

Back at my Aunt's farm, the horses are waiting for their carrots.

Rebekah pointing to the donkeys she loved so much as they come in to get their share of the carrots.

Emma feeding a carrot to Snowball.

Cinderella drinking from the hose as Aunt Laura sprays her down to cool off.

Back to the hay bales, here A and E are sitting up on top of these large circular ones. We didn't have 100 of these, the ones Joe needed were smaller, rectangle shaped bales.

Emma showing me how big the bales are.

Alyssa standing in front to give us a visual of how tall these were.

The fun part, time to slide down!

Alyssa too!

These photos were taken the first day they came back with hay. They were only able to get 80 bales that day, so we went back for the remaining 20 the next day.

Atop the 80 bales.

The girls smile by the trailer full of hay.

This was how Rebekah got in and out of their garage door, using the doggie door. Speaking of which, I didn't get any photos of Ginger and Kobe (sp?), who the girls loved and are such nice dogs.

Cowgirl Alyssa.

Cowgirl Emma.

There's a new sheriff in town :)

The girls and I by the wagon, all decked out in cowgirl clothes. You might notice in a few of the pictures Rebekah is eating a carrot stick. Something about seeing the animals eat carrots must have been intriguing to her, because I can't usually get her to eat raw veggies at home.

My mom, the girls and I by the Buckin' Horse Ranch sign. Thank you very much Aunt Laura and Uncle Joe. We had such a nice time each day of our trip, and the girls haven't stopped talking about it and all the animals, and all the fun stuff we did. Thank You, it was a blast!!

On the way home we saw the arch in St. Louis from a distance. The Gateway to the West.
