Finishing Up February

I ran out of days in February for posting all our photos in an organized fashion. Here's a quick summary and a bunch of photos to finish up the month:

Photo 54 of 365, taken February 11th. On this morning, Rebekah had asked me for help with putting on her socks. She's very particular about how her socks feel on her feet and she said, "Ugh, these mystery signs are not fitting on my toes right." I loved her sweet perspective of question marks signaling some mystery to be solved.

Photo 55 of 365, taken February 12th. I'm getting to the point where I am finished enjoying Winter. Packing up hats, gloves, boots and snowpants everyday before school is becoming tiresome. And so are the soggy backpacks that two of the girls bring home almost everyday. I pull out homework, notes and other papers that are completely soaked through because wet snowpants or boots have been sitting in the backpack with them. Yuck! Spring, please arrive soon!!

Photo 56 of 365, taken February 24th. Emma and a few of her teammates after a meet. She scored her highest all around so far as a level 7 at this meet, and she still has some improvements she can make, so it's an exciting time of the gymnastics season.
Snow Day 2013:

While I may complain about Winter, the girls are never disappointed to have an unexpected day off school because of the snow.

Photo 59 of 365, taken February 28th. Completing her homework about a snowman. If you look close you can see that she put herself and her sisters on a sled next to the snowman.

Photo 60 of 365, taken February 28th. While we wait for Alyssa to have her singing lesson, Rebekah does her homework. Once she is done with her work, one of our favorite thing to do is to take a walk in the school where the graduating class gets to add their own fishes to the underwater scene that extends the entire hallway {both sides, and it is kind of a tunnel like hallway that leads from the school to the building where the gymnasium is, so you really feel like you're underwater}. They are just beginning to paint this year's additions, and these are our new favorites so far.
