seeing double

The family that lives right next door to us has 4 children that are very close in age to our girls. All the kids get along great, and we are fortunate to have such nice neighbors. Both the oldest and youngest girls in each of our families are quite the look-a-like sisters.

The big sisters ~ This is a picture of Alyssa and McKenzie back when the girls were 5. When I recently found this photo tucked away in a stack of old photos, I was struck by the incredible resemblance it bears to the two little sisters who can be found playing in our backyards most days:
