Port Washington

One weekend while my parents were visiting, we went to a town called Port Washington, and walked around for a few hours while Emma was at a birthday party.
It's a really pretty harbor town on Lake Michigan. It was a little sad though, to see so many of the businesses in the downtown closed, in an area that at one time must have been thriving.

A, R, and I walking on a cement pier that led out to a lighthouse. Although the ledge got really narrow in some places, it was a pretty nice walk out to the lighthouse. We saw some fish in the water, and it was a beautiful day.

My parents and Alyssa looking around.

Rebekah struggling with Dad, as she wants to get down and run through the flowers.

Alyssa doing a straddle jump as the girls play.

Rebekah rolling in the grass with a pretty view of the water and lighthouse behind her.

The girls and I again.

Alyssa posing in the gazebo.

Trying to get a picture of Ka'iulani and Kamele here proved to be challenging. They kept making each other laugh. This was the best I was able to get.

Silly laughing sisters!

Still laughing!

Rebekah playing, and still finding Alyssa to be the funniest big sister.

I don't like the feeling of this grass, why are you still taking pictures of me?

Looks like such a cute town! Wouldn't that gazebo and large grassy area be such a pretty place for a Summer wedding!

I didn't think of that while we were there, but looking at the photos, it would make a very nice wedding location :-)
