Meeting Snoopy at Knotts Berry. Ka'iulani had already run off to go on some bigger rides.
Snoopy's airmail.
Waving "Hi" as she explores Camp Snoopy.
Emma having fun on the Huff and Puff. This used to be one of Ka'iulani's favorite rides, when she tried it this trip, she was too big.
Race car fun.
These little race cars that swing you around the corners of the turns were probably Kamele's favorite ride in Camp Snoopy.
Coming off the race track, Kamele is happy to see Daddy. You might have to click on the photo to see her excited face.
Kahiwa and Grandmommy waving from the hot air balloon ride.
The Camp Bus was another favorite in Camp Snoopy, here the girls are raising their arms, ready to go!
I remember LOVING these "log peeler" rides as a kid. Ka'iulani and Kahiwa enjoy them now, but Bekah seems a little less sure. I think she gets dizzy a little easier than the older girls, and just doesn't seem to like rides as much as they do.
The two older girls enjoying the kiddie coaster. When Ka'iulani was little, this was the first real roller coaster she ever went on, so it's always fun to come back and try it again!
Grandmommy got Kamele a haku lei (not sure I spelled that correctly) and although she liked to wear it backwards, it looked so cute on her.
Here is Emma and Daddy having fun on a roller coaster (the second car from the left), Alyssa and I are on the back side of their car. This was a fun ride! The cart itself spun around as it moved along the track. There was a video camera mounted on the front of each car so you could get a video of yourself on the ride. Ours is hilarious! Emma is just riding, chewing her gum like it's no big deal, she's just out for a slow Sunday ride. Alyssa on the other hand has her mouth ride open screaming (and laughing) the whole way.
An example of the wide open mouth scream!
This ride is called the GR8SK8, and the girls loved it.
This roller coaster was called The Jaguar and we loved how you start out inside the pyramid and it's a nice long ride, so it's worth a wait. We didn't have to wait though, so we went on twice back to back. We are the 2nd car from the back.
The second time we went on this ride, Alyssa thought it would be fun to raise our hands and close our eyes for the entire ride. I don't think we had started that yet at this point of the ride, but it was fun.
The Calico Mine Train Ride, and Duckie with her Duckie on her head. The girls each got a little stuffed duck and they were so happy with these little ducklings that we carried them around for the rest of the trip. Alyssa also brought hers to school as a "prop" the day of Fasching, when she had to be a bird welcoming Spring and scaring the Winter away.
After the Calico Mine, Kahiwa was getting sleepy and she took a rest on this horse while we waited in line.
This was a really cool ride! Called the Pony Express, each seat was made to have the rider feeling like they were riding a horse. The restraints were completely unlike any ride I have ever been on. The safety bar comes up from behind you, smooshing you forward onto your horse. It was super fun, but also super short. Ka'eo said if they added about 1000 more feet of track it would be a good ride.
Aunty Kanoe and Ka'iulani panning for gold. Ka'iulani wasted no time in finding her gold. If you swoosh the pan around too quickly, you risk loosing any gold pieces that might be in the pan. I guess she was willing to take the risk, because right away she saw the gold pieces and rushed to get everything else out of the pan.
Grandmommy and Aunty panning for gold. This Gold Rush gift shop was empty before we came along, and when several of us panned for gold, it was probably the most business they had all day. It looked like a lot of fun though!
The pieces of gold Ka'iulani had in her pan.
Ka'iulani by the covered wagon.
Right before dinner, everyone sat down to take a little rest. Aunty Lisa is holding a sleeping Kahiwa, and Grandmommy a sleeping Kamele.
Ka'iulani and Kamelelani waiting to go into the chicken dinner.
Grandmommy and Granddaddy at dinner.
Aunty Kui and Uncle Tommy.
Uncle David, Kaliko, and Aunty.
Great Grandmommy and Great Granddaddy.
Koa, Ka'iu, and Kanoe. Sorry to Koa for cutting part of him off in the picture!

I haven't been to Knotts Berry Farm since I was in college, I am so excited to take my kids there sometime soon. I was assuming that Cristian wouldn't be able to go on many of the roller coasters yet, but it looks like I was wrong. C liked seeing all the pictures of Emma, he asked if we could go to disneyland with her again =)
